Jan. 17, 2012 Update
Local 17 is requesting each layoff family choose a representative to act as a delegate to the Layoff and Recall Committee. The Layoff and Recall Committee will meet after hours to discuss the possible restructuring of your contractual Layoff and Recall rights.
It is very important that each layoff family be represented. If a family does not send a representative then Local 17 will determine that the family without representation is willing to accept the consensus of the participating committee members.
Please let Nikola Davidson (nikola@pte17.org or (800) 783-0017, ext. 111) know of your selection and/or interest in serving as a delegate by no later than January 27, 2012.
